In Productions
Having just watched the fabulous National Theatre's production of Jane Eyre, I am inspired to try something similar with the JADC, perhaps involving other groups. The concept is basically that you have a director (or directors) who plan out scenes but no dialogue. The play is workshopped and devised with the actors, choreographer and musicians. There is no written script, this evolves during rehearsals. The dialogue, music and movements reflects the story, characters and themes of the story. Any thoughts, ideas of the tale we should tell, do please share. Teamwork is dreamwork!
