Student Performing Arts Award
The JADC is thrilled to launch its inaugural Student Performing Arts Award, with its purpose being to assist the study of performing arts in the form of acting, dancing, music, technical skills (music and theatre), directing or designing.
The award will see one young Islander (or more, depending on the amount requested by applicant/s), connected to Jersey either by birth or residence for at least two years before applying, awarded a maximum of £1,000 towards their study at University or College, or towards vocational training in the Island, having completed GCSEs or equivalent and wishing to pursue further education in performing arts in Jersey or elsewhere.
The Executive members of the JADC Committee shall administer the award and determine the conditions under which the award should be given (e.g. for further study, travel expenses, purchase of items relating to study such as books, equipment, instruments etc.).
